5 Common audio visual items that need upgrading in home cinemas every 5-10 years.
- The projector. Technology moves so quickly. New projectors are coming out with better high definition pictures capabilities like TV's all the time. To watch your Netflix of blue ray DVD's properly you'll need an up to date home cinema projector.
- The cabling. When the better high definition picture capabilities come out they usually require different, also new cabling to handle it.
- The AV receiver / surround sound amplifier. To watch your shows in the best picture and sound, your amplifier will also need to be able to handle it and pass on the high quality picture to your projector.
- The set top box. Usually to watch normal TV in a home cinema / surround sound setup in Southport Gold Coast it is done through using a HD set top box. If you're set top box is old it most likely won't be able to broadcast the HD channels.

After spending quite a bit of time figuring out his old AV receiver we found an odd ball setting had been engaged to prevent the rear speakers from working and that he's also plugged the surround sound speakers into the Zone 2 inputs instead of Surround Back. Roger was very pleased that he can now enjoy his home theatres speakers much better now; as expected ;)"
