So here is a pic/story by Installer: Matt
This one might be a bit of an inside joke but it had us laughing in stitches! It passed latest news postings and was just too good to put on our jokes page instead.
Here in the photo is remains of what we removed after being called out to fix a customer's tv reception. The photo shows how the customer has attempted his own DIY antenna installation. Look closely, this one really takes the cake as the worst attempt we have ever seen, I think my 4yo nephew would know not to do this. I mean I've seen some dodgy jobs in the past but this one REALLY takes the cake!
THE WORST, DIY ANTENNA ISNTALLATION ATTEMPT EVER! .....
tried replacing his own antenna, didn't have a pole / mast so used another antenna!!
lol! this might only be funny for other tradies but we thought it was pretty funny :)
Oh and Matt said 'string/rope was used to tie the innovative new antenna pole to his chimney
AND!!..... when Matt said that a new antenna was needed, the customer seriously asked
"What's wrong with the antenna I put up?" !!!
Customer of course got their reception fixed up and both parties had a good laugh about the situation.
