4 things to can make installing new TV aerial outlets tricky
- Downstairs TV outlets in multistorey storey homes A lot of the time the only sure fire way to install a new TV or Foxtel point in our customers multistorey home in Parkwood Gold Coast is to run the cable externally on the outside of the home because typically we can't get access in between the floors of your home to do it internally.
- Flat roofs The challenge with a flat roof is that there is no cavity for TV technicians to run their cabling in, so it's going be to run externally on the roof and on the outside of your home to get to its final destination.
- Non standard wall construction A wall built to normal standards are pretty simple for an expert to run new cables inside for your new TV outlet installation but if they aren't standard it might not be possible. There could be many obstructions that aren't usually there or no workable cavity space at all.
- Architectural homes Many times once these fancy homes are built, that's it, no more new cable running is possible without going to extremes. They usually don't build them in the standard way where you can gain access to cavities and run new cables. So when you're planning your homes construction be sure to include enough TV, Foxtel and data cable connection points in the plans.
