A great projector setup can turn an ordinary room into a true cinema experience — but only when it’s installed properly. Before installing anything, I measure the room, calculate the throw distance, check the ambient light levels and find the perfect position for your projector and screen. I mount your projector using TV Magic’s custom-engineered ceiling and wall brackets, designed for stability and long-term alignment. Cheaper store-bought brackets often sag, vibrate or slowly shift out of position over time — especially in coastal areas where metal components can weaken. If you’re installing a new screen, I fit it securely and ensure the projector is calibrated to match the screen size and gain. If you already have a screen, I adjust everything to suit the existing layout. I also take care of the cabling using TV Magic’s discreet cable-routing system, keeping wires hidden and the setup clean.
Once everything is physically installed, I fine-tune the focus, keystone correction, colour settings and brightness to match your room’s lighting. Projectors react differently in bright coastal homes compared to darker media rooms, so calibration makes a huge difference.
