SAVING KOALAS - tv magic donation

Wildlife Organisations including RSPCA, Zoos and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary all play their part in tagging and tracking our Australian native species. Koalas are tracked and tagged in order to keep track of numbers and their health throughout their lifespan. In order to track down a koala an antenna (much like a house antenna) is used. However, when Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary approached TV Magic to repair one of their antenna locating devices, we donated and upgraded their system as well as providing 3x additional antennas. This new technology means that Lewis and the team at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary can track down and locate the koalas quicker, easier and from a further distance. Our antennas are compact, lightweight and perform better than the products they were previously using. Thanks to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary we received a free private tour of the zoo and this testimonial video and photos. 

Besides saving koalas, TV Magic is actively educating the public on the humane culling of a poisonous pest - the Cane Toad. We also sponsor kids, athletes and sporting teams.
