Below are some common questions we're asked about new tv points and extra Foxtel outlets in Coomera and surrounds.

  • Does adding more TV outlets affect the antenna signal? Yes and no, if you have a good strong TV signal then it's not likely, the only real way to know is for a technician to take some measurements with their signal meter at various locations. If you have a decent booster / signal amplifier fitted adding new outlets is very likely not going to cause any noticeable signal loss. 

  • Do you work for Foxtel, can you do Foxtel work? We do not work for Foxtel however we can install the FOXTEL outlets and fix their satellite dish issues etc. Often I find myself doing a combination of new outlets at Coomera homes, some Free to Air and some Foxtel. 

  • Can I have a TV outlet outside? Yes, it's quite a common request to have a TV outlet installed on a veranda / patio for a customer. 

  • Can you fix my TV reception as well? Most definitely. We are very skilled at anything TV, Satellite or antenna related. We can definitely resolve any TV signal issues you're having while we're there.

A real-life example from today, 17th October 2017 follows:

Nina wanted to wall mount her TV up high in her bedroom so she needed a new TV outlet put up behind the TV out of site. We helped Nina with the TV wall mounting and installed a new TV point cleanly and neatly out of sight behind up bedroom TV. Nina also wanted to look at moving her Foxtel box to another room in the house. We ended up installed a new extra FOXTEL outlet for her in second living room as well. Job well done as always.

TV Point Installation - Where can you put a TV point? How many TV points can you have? 

I have installed more TV points in difficult locations than any other company. Whilst there is always a 'cheaper option' sometimes having the TV point EXACTLY where you want it can be a little more difficult (and some technicians) are not prepared to do the hard work....

Do you want a TV point in a particular location? Do you need it to be under a window? Does your roof allow no access or do your walls have no cavities inside them? Some of these scenarios make installing a TV point extremely difficult. There are times /customers who want their TV points exactly:- where they want them! And TV Magic provides such a service.   

How much does it cost? Call me out for a quote! Every house is different and situation is different. Whilst sometimes it may only cost an extra $25 for the 'difficult option' other TV points have been known to cost $1000 or more (and the customer had to have it done, because they had no TV, (and noone else would do it).
