Smart TV's are all the rage nowadays; you can barely buy a TV that hasn't got a computer in them. I get a lot of questions about which TV's I recommend and my answer is basically pick the more expensive brands for the size. Cheaper TV's although they have the same size display as more much expensive brand have the following downfalls which you should definitely consider. 1. They don't respond very well to the remote control. I find they are slow to start up, turn off and the main gripe being the slow response to using the remote control. 2. The remote controls require very accurate pointing to a specific corner of the TV to work (most of the time) which is frustrating for anyone that doesn't know this. 3. The build quality is cheap; the plastic frame is very soft and easily broken. The display panel is much easier to scratch too. 4. The internet apps are slow and the user interface is not friendly. In summary for a good user experience I would definitely personally buy a smaller TV of a better brand than a bigger TV for a cheaper price.
