There are absolutely no fees for Leads! Beware franchise systems that have this model - they are a marketing company in disguise!

We charge absolutely zero $ for lead fees! Some franchise systems charge ridiculous fees for leads (of $9 per lead!) and even $45 per lead!

We've heard all the horror stories; such business models are very out-dated and so 1980's! It's a problem for many reasons including: calls from; "price shoppers", " quote only's", "double-bookings", "I want some info first calls" and "repeat customers". All these calls hit your account as a lead you have to pay for, whether you win the job or not or whether they were even wanting a job done! ... (And you're paying franchisee fees and a call centre for this terrible service!)

Hey, we're a bit different. We charge $0 for a lead! And we don't limit the # of leads you'll receive! Be careful of any franchise company that is charging lead fees - they are essentially a "marketing company in disguise". They give you the smallest of franchise areas, if you cannot service your territory properly or efficiently.. leads are sold to other neighbouring franchisees (who are happy to take your meal ticket!) - and that's all it is - a meal ticket!... like a crowded beach of seagulls fighting neck and neck for a packet of chips.

The Fees

The fees (also known as "royalties" or "franchise service fees") are a normal part of any franchise.

Our franchise fees are fixed. (Not a % percentage of your overall sales / turnover)

Whether you do a $2000 sales week or a $12,000 week; you just pay the same LOW fixed amount every week.

Furthermore, the cost of the weekly royalty is less than one(1) average $ job

With a company-wide average of $650 per job - (depending on territory), you'll have this expense covered by half a job!

YES! That means (IF YOU ARE RUNNING the business correctly to how you have been trained + following the systems) you'll have more money coming in than going out.

The TV Magic franchise fees are $345/ week INCLUDING GST

Our Franchisees are some of the happiest franchisees around!

As a franchise system; we wouldn't have it any other way. We look after our franchisees and we look after our 160,000 clients. We understand that the more experience our technicians gain the better they get year on year.

Unlike many other franchise systems - we give our franchisees a genuine opportunity to grow - to get those additonal vans & get off the tools!

We know our franchisees are happy because we have an overwhelming success rate with franchisees who renew after the 5 year mark. We have an overwhelming success rate with franchisee acquiring additional territories and also growing their business to multiple vans.

If you grow your business to additional vans - Yes; there are additonal royalties:- however it's exceedinly simple. If your first van is averaging $5000/ week. The plan is that your 2nd and 3rd van will do the same! Whilst real results may vary those additional vans cover their own expenses relatively easily (if following the system). So as you can see- It's quite simple! We structured the franchise that way so that it's a WIN for you and a WIN for the Customer!

Are there any other fees?

Yes.

Just one.

We don't have lead fees and leads still cost money (It's called the "acquisition cost" to obtain a new customer) and we have a better, more innovative option.

We have a compulsory marketing fund contribution.

All mobile service-based businesses will spend more than a dollar on marketing to gain their customers.

The industry acquisition cost in 2025 floats around $70 per customer.

We will give you AS MANY LEADS as we can GET and GIVE THEM ALL TO YOU!

Marketing Fund contributions are compulsory (as per the Franchise Agreement) and are currently:

$165/week including GST

Head office manage these funds to make your phone ring and you pay the same fixed amount regardless of how many leads are sent.

(Unlike many franchise systems we will not withhold excessive leads from you!)

Are fees are fixed and our structure is innovative because here at TV Magic - we have no head office! We have no call centres and no receptionists!

Since 2007 our clients have been calling the technicians directly. Our clients don't speak to a receptionist or a middle man; and ultimately are not paying for the associated wages and structure of that "archaeic" business model. That's so 1990!
