5 Things to look for when choosing a TV wall bracket.
- Is it level? Many times I find customers who provide their own bracket have purchased a dudd, and it's not just the cheap brackets. If the bracket isn't level, I. E has a bend in it, how on earth are you going to get your TV level? You can still do it but it's a guessing game trying to account for the bend.
- Does the top flex or bend. Another sign of a poorly thought our TV bracket. Imagine getting your bracket dead level on your wall in Oxenford Gold Coast and then when you lower your TV onto it the damn bracket flexes or bends and now the TV isn't sitting level. Argh! The frustration!
- Does the mount that goes on the wall require assemble? This is a warning sign for the behaviour mentioned above. The flat bracket that attaches to the wall should be one solid piece of metal or you're probably going to experience No.1 or No.2 above.
- Do the vertical arms tilt independent of each other? This is another feature that's setting you up for a painful, tedious exercise in trying to level your wall mounted TV or Sound bar at the end. - Is the width wide enough to reach between the studs in the wall and still be in a good position for your TV? A reason why we can a variety of tv wall brackets in our van is because although many brackets will fit a TV only a specific bracket will do that and be a good match for your walls studs.
