"Wow! I called TV Magic and they came out that day to my place in Paradise Point and fixed my TV reception. All our channels were pixilating badly and I thought we needed a new antenna. Turns out antenna system was old and falling apart and our home needed a digital antenna system upgrade. I was very happy with TV Magics professionalism and thorough explanation of our antenna signal issues" Sienna.

5 Reasons why you should call a professional to fix your TV signal problems

  1. To diagnose what's actually causing the problem properly requires a the use of a professional signal meter, which costs in excessive of $1500! So when your mate, husband or electrician says they can "fix TV reception" issues they really are just guessing at what to do and usually make a mess anyway.
  2. It can be dangerous, like electrical work! Nearly always we have to go on top of your roof and inside your ceiling to investigate your antenna system which is dangerous. Leave it to experienced TV and antenna technicians.
  3. It's safer. Did you know children have actually died from pulling TVs over onto themselves in recent times! Shocking I know but I can see it being very possible nowadays with the TV's being so large and unstable.
  4. One tiny mistake can wreck the signal for your whole house! Your TV antenna system is only as good as it's weakest point. If someone inexperienced tries to fix your TV signal issues themselves all it takes is something very minor to make the signal 10 percent of what it should be.
  5. Retail stores sell rubbish parts! Retail stores like Bunnings and Jaycar for example have TV antenna equipment for sale but its nearly always products we find that last a year or less because they have weak spots that elements will quickly deteriorate and render the part faulty. Our parts will last you 10+ years not 1-3 years like retails stores.

A real-life example from today, 31st October 2017 follows:

Brendon of Paradise Point, Hollywell Gold Coast moved into an existing home with intentions to renovate the house. He found straight away that none of his TV outlets were working so he called TV MAGIC. Upon inspection we found the TV antenna system was the original to the 20 year old home and basically it all needed replacing for Brendon to experience piece of mind flawless TV reception for the next 10+ years or more. We replace the antenna, mast, splitters, wall plates, connectors and booster. Bredon was very happy and gave us a 5-star review on google as a show of appreciation. Thank you Brendon.

Having TV reception problems? Pixelation? One channel dropping out or freezing?

Why does that happen? How is digital Tv different to analogue? Why do you only get problems on one TV point or only on one TV channel?

The following videos give you some answer to all of the above. These are very commonly asked questions. Basically, any problems you are experiencing will not fix themselves. They may come 'good again' however, this will be temporary. By Calling TV Magic we can ascertain by using our 'field strength meter' just how good or how bad your TV channels really are. When we test, we are looking to see if any channel is reaching minimum signal requirements. This will make sure there is enough 'head room' for fluctuation for bad weather, trees, a few broken elements and other factors that effect signal strength and signal quality. If these minimal requirements are not met, yes you may still have a 'perfect clear picture' however the BIG QUESTION is; for how long for? Yes your bald tyre does keep air in it and drives your car around, but obviously it's not going to take a nail or a bit of glass on the road as well as a brand new tyre.
