"Beth was having trouble tuning in her TV's at her new home and called in the expert TV technicians in Palm Beach, TV Magic Gold Coast. What we found was Beth unfortunately was trying to tune in her TV's with them connected to Foxtel outlets instead of TV antenna sockets. We helped Beth by converting her Foxtel outlets to TV antenna connections and then tuned in her TV's for her. We also assisted in setting up her brand new Smart TV and installing it on her wall."
5 Common Items our customer need help setting up
- New Foxtel boxes. Often we our customers receive a new Foxtel box it doesn't have the same connections on it and the TV so they call us experts in to setup their TV with it.
- TV Channel Recorders. We find many of customers struggle with setting up TV recorders for some reason. There an be a few tricks to getting it all in HD and having the TV antenna connected to both the recorder and the TV itself but for the most part it can be a simple TV installation task in Palm Beach.
- New TVs. TV's pretty much all come flat packed nowadays and require the base installed on with screws and then you have to tune it in, connect it to your wi-fi and a few other installation knickknacks. It can definitely be overwhelming for some and even scary handling a big TV out of the box without damaging it.
- Fetch boxes. For some reason a lot of our customers get sent these in the mail with their phone or internet packages and have no idea on what they are or do, so we're commonly helping our customers setup them up, installing them into their TV systems and showing them how to use them.
- Apple TV. If you're not savvy with computers and smart phones then when you get an Apple TV, you're probably going to require professional TV technician help to install and set it up. You don't have to tune it in or anything like that, but you will have to connect it to your internet and set up your Apple login.
A real-life example from today, 25th February 2019 follows:
"Shane is a busy guy running his large business and had his secretary Sarah call us in to setup his TV equipment in his new home while he was in meetings. We setup and installed several Smart TVs, a home theatre surround sound setup, some foxtel boxes and a new sound bar. I think in total we setup, tuned and installed about ten TVs with their associated equipment. Shanes home in Palm Beach was quite bit as you can imagine, I hope he remembers how to use all his TV systems. :) "
