Others will be travelling through / doing the "big - bucket list" thing; don't care and perhaps prefer to see sites where you don't have to stop and pay for an attraction you have zero interest in.

"Quite a let down"

It's a giant painted water tank, which is also damaged and needs repainting (as of June 2023). There is little to no creativity. When you see it in it's flesh you'll see not many people are stopping to take a photo of the monument. If you're driving past, it's unfortunatley; not even worth stopping for; definitely not worth going out of your way; and for these reasons - it landed in the "Disappointment List"

Koumala, QLD have been put on the map with an 'ICONIC' BIG THING/ Monument; unfortunately it's just not that 'Iconic'. In fact it made the disappointment list. The BIG XXXX Beer can lacks creativity and accessibility. It's essentially a big yellow painted water tank. To get people's attention for the pub you could essentially erect a billboard and paint / professionally sign a giant XXXX beer can and have it in a better position for viewing and it would look a lot better. If you're driving out of your way for this one, don't! We stopped and grab some photos anyway for the collection and ratings/reviews. But if you can avoid going through Koumala or save yourself time stopping, then you definitely won't be missing out on much by skipping this one.
