TV Magic Shark Diving experience Port Lincoln

Shark diving in a cage in Port Lincoln was amazing. An experience we definately recommend. On our road trip back from Perth we just had to take advantage of being in this part of the country.  Port Lincoln, SA is a good 10hour drive; even from Adelaide. It's not every day that you would be in this part of the country especially if you are from VIC or QLD. 

We booked our shark cage dive and it was honestly an experience that everyone with a sense of adventure/adrenaline should engage in. We highly recommend the charter 'Calypso Star'. They had the best deal going on at the time and it was everything bit magical. 

Port Lincoln Shark cage diving

The photos above show Josh Mclachland and Shane seymour shark cage diving in Port Lincoln, SA. These creatures were absolutely gob smacking.  As the great white sharks come up to the cage and feed on the tuna chunks that the service throws into the water the sharks look gracious and elegant as they swim up slowly and take their food. However I think they are much smarter than that. Whilst they would occaisonally bump into the cage or flap their tail and the cage would move a little bit I think it would be a very different story if they mistaked you for food and they thought you were prey. Their elegance and graciousness would be much more terrifying! lol
