Now that even DVD's are phasing out; that brings up the question of: Are you up to date with the latest technology? 

Dvd's are superceded by Blu Ray and Blu Ray is quickly being replaced by Hard drives and USB sticks/thumb drives as well. 

 

Full HD not so hot

 

Forget 1080p it's now 2k or a even higher 2160p (4k) resolution. Resolution is basically DPI (dots per square inch). We like to call it how 'impressive' or how much detail is in the picture. The higher the resolution the more life like your TV screen is going to be. 

 

If you're thinking "I just bought a new TV!" this is very typical! I wouldn't go running out and buying the latest and greatest (unless you want to! - we'll definately help you set it up!) as you will probably pay a premium price for the latest technology but if you are in the market and you can hold out for a little while these new 2k and 4 K Televisions are going to come down in price. 

At the moment there are no 4k sources except for a sports camera known as the GoPRO however soon enough, HD TV and Movie disks will most probably catch up.

How much will it cost to Fix my TV reception? Sometimes there is a cheap fix, other times there is a risk of doing it cheap and it will cost more in the long run. Sometimes it has been done that badly in the first place that it's going to cost more to erectify an old system than it's going to just install a brand new one from scratch. Sometimes, the old gear is that old that the whole lot just needs replacing. In the end, the tv reception signals need to comply to certain requirements or it's just not going to work. These requirements are described as per the requirements of Digital Broadcasting Australia (DBA) authorities. If these are not complied with - your tv reception will be no better off. Also, having too much signal can cause bad tv reception as well!
