What are these channels?
When your TV is showing channels 354 or any other channel in the 300's this is due to your TV tuning in weak signal strength channels and missing information occured resulting in the TV putting regular TV channels on weird channel numbers.
Why does my TV do this? Why does my TV have channel 354 etc?
Why exactly, we do not know. We do not know why a SONY TV or any other TV does this but rather we know what the cause is and we know the solution.
If you live in a UHF zone - the cause can be that your TV is tuning into repeater towers and the signals from these repeater towers is weak resulting in the same thing. If you live in Metropolitan/Capital City the 300, 354 channels are simple a result of your primary signals being weak.
How do you remove these channels / fix them?
Some Televisions will allow you to manually remove channel by channel in the Menu. If you do not know how to do this- you may need to book a technician and use our services. We come to you
Other times the TV needs a factory reset. Manually tune the correct channels. Other times the signal strength needs repairing ie. your TV antenna system. Either way, don't feel embarrassed if you cannot fix this yourself as most of the time it is very technical or related to a weak signal coming from your TV antenna anyway.
