An interview with Adrian Malyon by Beth O
Beth: "Hi Adrian! So what's your favourite job to do in TV Magic?"
Adrian: "Point to Point internet systems"
Beth: "Oh nice, that's a new one. Is that like Starlink internet?
Adrian: "No it could be with Starlink but the customer can have any internet. It's where we extend the internet range to another point, think of a granny flat or shed/building that's separate to the main dwelling. We install some water proof extenders and it sends high speed internet through the air to the remote location. Usually the remote location is 20-50m away but it can work up to several kilometres away"
Beth: "I'm going to mix these questions up a little, lets go with this one- what's your favourite place on Earth?"
Adrian: "Home"
Beth: "What did you do before Tv Magic?"
Adrian: "I was a scientific instrument expert"
Beth: "Sound interesting. What's the biggest tip you've received from a customer? "
Adrian: "None"
Beth: "Oh that's no good! Well you're still pretty new.. it'll happen! What do you do for fun? Hobbies? "
Adrian: "I like to live a life of self suffiency, farming trees, vegies and livestock"
Beth: "Ohhh a true farmer! My folks are hobby farmers. So what's the most awkward customer experience you've ever had?"
Adrian: "I once was at a house, trying to do a Tune and Setup, the house so filthy, I couldn't breathe"
Beth: "ha oh yuck! What's 1x favourite quote?"
Adrian: "It's not what you achieve in life, but what you overcome"
Beth: "And what's one thing, not many people know about you?"
Adrian: "I played union for 11 years"
