Beth: "Hi Doug! Lets kick this interview off.. I was just looking through my notes, and I interviewed you back in 2020? Do you remember what you said back then?

Doug: "No, no idea!

Beth: "Well it would be interesting to see how many of your answers stay the same!. So first question, what's your favourite type of job to do? "

Doug: "Removing old large, unused Satellite dishes and taking them to scrap metal"

Beth: "That's a new one. And what's the biggest Tip you've ever received from a customer?"

Doug: "$50"

Beth: "Most awkward customer experience? "

Doug: "I was once accused of damaging a DVD player after moving it on a customer's request. It turned out to be a faulty HDMI cable"

Beth: "And what do you like to do for fun, outside of TV Magic? "

Doug: "Watching NRL / Cricket"

Beth: "What did you do before Tv Magic? "

Doug: "I was a logisitics manager"

Beth: "What's your biggest achievement to date?"

Doug: "Buying a TVM franchise and running my own business"

Beth: 2nd Last question, where is your fav. place on earth?"

Doug: "Indonesia"

Beth: "What's something that not many people know about you Doug?"

Doug: "I absolutely love playing cricket!"

An Interview with Doug Knowles by Beth O, 2020

Doug loves installing Home cinemas and making customer's TV problems disappear. He just loves the look on people's faces after they have been in despair and he has come in and annihilated the problem; sometimes in a matter of minutes. He also finds it extremely rewarding when he has transformed a living space; whether it be a simple TV wall installation or a complete home theatre / media room.

Doug, what were you doing before TV Magic? "Logistics and Warehousing"

Sounds Interesting and what is your favourite movie of all time? "The Matrix"

And what about your favourite TV snack? "BBQ Shapes and Coke"

Ok, so tell us something that not many people know about you? "I absolutely love playing cricket!"

Thanks Doug. So tell us, what is your most memorable customer experience? " I was on this one job and when I finished the customer was so stoked he himself gave me a hi five and gathered up his entire family to hi five me because they were encouraging me to keep up the good work .. haha they were super happy"

Haha wow! And what sort of antenna installation or job did you do for them? "Ahh I can't rememmber I think it was a little job - mounted a few TV's, installed a few TV points and fixed their problems but I think the real reason they were so happy was I was about $100 cheaper than another quote they got"
